Hours for each employee are tracked using Productivity Monitoring Software and this comes pre-installed in every company laptop/desktop provided by Uplers Solutions Private Limited. Below is the classification of the hours tracked by the Productivity Monitoring Software.

Total Hours
Total Hours is the total amount of activity tracked each day, and this includes any time throughout the day when the laptop is On, and shows any manner of activity.

Productive Hours
Productive hours are defined as the active hours from the total hours spent on website/software/apps flagged as Productive. The set of Productive website/software/apps would depend on the specific department and role belongs to, for example, specific social media would be marked productive for Digital Marketers, but for other departments/roles where the specific social media isn’t relevant to get their work done, might be flagged in another category.

Unproductive Hours
Unproductive hours are defined as the active hours from the total hours spent on websites/software/apps flagged as unproductive. For example, a specific social media website might be marked unproductive for the Finance team as there is no requirement to access it for the Finance team to get their daily task completed.

Unrated Hours
Unrated hours are defined as the active hours from the total hours spent on websites/software/apps flagged as that are being newly visited and have not been flagged as Productive or Unproductive.

Neutral Hours
Unrated hours are defined as the active hours from the total hours that the laptop is idle and isn’t getting any input from the mouse/keyboard or any other peripheral device. Neutral hours are started being clocked after a Laptop/Desktop has been idle for the set criteria of minutes, after the criteria of minutes are met the Neutral hours start and continue until any input from the user is given on the Laptop/Desktop.
