Shift Allowance Policy
Purpose
The primary objective of the policy is to make every employee of Uplers Solutions Private Limited understand about the shift allowance.
Scope
The policy would define in detail about the shift timings, and the shift allowance rate that an employee is entitled to get according to the work they do in the odd hours.
Eligibility Criteria for Shift Allowance
If an employee is working in Odd Hours- 10 PM to 7 AM, he/she is eligible to get shift allowance.
Shift Allowance Rate and how is it calculated
For Partial Shift Allowance- If an employee has worked for less than 4 hours in the odd hours, he/she is entitled to get 8% of total CTC.
For Full Shift Allowance- If an employee has worked for more than 4 hours in the odd hours, he/she is entitled to get 20% of total CTC.

For a new Shift Creation- Approval needs to be taken from People & Culture-Associate Director.
General Rules:
- Employees who are working for odd hours, are entitled to get a shift allowance depending upon the number of hours they have worked for.
- Depending upon the hours they have worked for, they will be entitled to receive partial/full allowance.
- Any changes in the shift is done by People & Culture- Associate Director.
